reclaiming
the invisible motherhood of pregnancy loss

A 4-part online circle for sharing our stories, witnessing what has been unseen, and reclaiming the motherhood that continues beyond pregnancy loss.

Bring your story. Bring what you remember and what you don't. Bring the grief, the love, the motherhood, the silence, the questions. Bring whatever is still waiting to be witnessed. We will make space for it together.

why this circle

When I look back at my twenties, I see the courage and strength of a young woman who had learned to survive and protect herself by running away, masking, freezing, fighting, and finding solace in high-intensity chaos and oblivion.

And let me tell you, it was scary and lonely 24/7.

My pregnancy losses happened during those years, and I know now the support I needed back then — and the impact of having to suppress and move on from experiences that had not yet been witnessed or integrated.

Every pregnancy is an initiation, and every ending is a return — not to what was, but to what needs to be integrated for becoming to happen.

And for that integration to happen, we need people around us tending to our body, mind and soul.

If you carry one of these stories, know that you are not alone.

There can be another way of being with your body, your story, your grief and your motherhood.

Reclaiming what has been invisible is part of the journey of becoming.

Because we cannot fully become without meeting what has been unseen.

circle 1

Arriving and setting the intention

Our first gathering is an invitation to arrive, meet one another, and begin creating the container together.

A space to name what brings you here, share as much or as little of your story as feels right, and set an intention for what you would like to explore, receive, or reclaim through these four circles.

circle 2

Loss Stories Are Birth Stories

We will share and witness the stories of our pregnancy losses — the pregnancies, the births, the endings, and everything that may have remained unseen, unspoken, or unacknowledged.

An invitation to give language to what happened, to listen to the different ways loss can shape a motherhood story, and to honour the experiences that may not have had a place to be witnessed.

circle 3

The Labyrinth of Birth/Death & Rebirth

A guided journey through the ancient map of the labyrinth — the first path we walk in life.

We will enter through the soma, listening for the images, archetypes, sensations, stories and myths that may arise as we turn our attention towards the body.

An invitation to explore birth and death as thresholds, and to meet the different stages of this passage through embodied experience.

circle 4

Sharing & Integration

A final circle to come back together, share what has moved through the weeks, and witness what has chnged, shifted or become clearer.

We will make space for what wants to be integrated and carried forward - honouring the stories, relationships, emotions and meanings that have emerged throughout these four circles.

reconnecting with the spirit of the baby

Pregnancy loss can also open questions about the nature of life, death, spirit and the relationship we continue to have with the babies we carried.

Across cultures and through many generations, people have held different understandings of the soul and of why a spirit may come into human life — sometimes for a brief time, sometimes to complete something begun, and sometimes to touch a life in ways we may never fully understand.

As a European woman, I feel the ache of a lineage where most older ways of knowing have been interrupted, erased or silenced. I am grateful for the traditions that have kept these relationships with spirit and the unseen alive. Learning from them can become a doorway into remembering what may also have once belonged to my own lineage.

We may explore what it means to feel that a baby’s spirit continues to live within us; the possibility of an ongoing relationship beyond physical life; and ways of remembering, reclaiming or giving a name, creating rituals of connection, or simply making space for the presence of the baby in your life.

There is no single way to grieve, remember or understand a pregnancy loss.

You are invited to bring your own beliefs, doubts, questions and sense of mystery.

from the red tent to this online circle

This was exactly two weeks ago, at the Kind Family Gathering, in the north of Portugal.

I came home with a full heart and deeply inspired to continue creating spaces where pregnancy loss can be spoken about, witnessed and held.

I want to hear more stories. I want to listen to other women, learn from what they carry, and allow their experiences to shape and deepen this work.

This online container is a continuation of that gathering — allowing the conversation to keep moving beyond those days at the Red Tent.

I’m deeply grateful to all the women who showed up and shared so openly, and to Carolina, with whom I co-facilitated the circle.

I’m currently living in Nisa, in a small village close to Portalegre Portugal, which makes it easier for me to reach and support more women online.

The in-person circles will continue from time to time when I’m visiting Lisboa.

Join my WhatsApp group to hear about upcoming visits, in-sessions and gatherings.
