Pregnancy Dialogues

and

Planning for the Fourth Trimester

For women between 20 and 36 weeks of pregnancy

 * New cycles begins every 7 weeks *

Blue Ocean Waves

Do you want to welcome your baby with intention —

while gently nurturing your own needs

and feeling supported as a new mother?

Do you want to prevent depletion in the early weeks —

while organizing life around rest, warmth, nourishment,

and realistic support?

Do you want your partner to truly understand what you will need —

while building shared responsibility before the baby arrives?

Do you want to build a circle of women who will still be there

once your baby arrives —

so you feel held in this transition, not navigating it alone?

Most women prepare for birth.

Very few prepare for postpartum.

Birth is a day.

Postpartum is a reorganization of body,

identity, nervous system, relationship, and lineage.

The first weeks after birth shape:

– how a mother heals

– how a baby regulates

– how a family bonds

– how depletion or resilience takes root

And yet, it is the least prepared season of motherhood.

Blue Ocean Waves

The support

you have in place

will shape how

you welcome

your baby earth side,

and how

you are held

while becoming a
mother.

After birth, your body is open.

Your hormones shift.

Your tissues heal.

Your nervous system recalibrates.

You are biologically designed for:

Rest. Warmth. Nourishment. Touch. Community.

When these are protected,

mother and baby settle and thrive.

Across cultures —  from the

Cuarentena ( Mexico )

to the Golden Window ( China ) —

the first 6 weeks are recognized

as essential for protecting a mother’s

long-term health.

Adequate, physiological care can reduce rates of perinatal mood
disorders, promote a strong attachment bond with the infant,
facilitate breastfeeding, prevent pelvic organ prolapse, prevent
autoimmune disorders, and accelerate physical recovery.

These foundations require both

structure and relationship.

Planning for the Fourth Trimester

is the workshop where we design
your postpartum support

— practically and physiologically.

THE 5 ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS FOR POSTPARTUM HEALTH THAT WE WILL EXPLORE WILL BE:

  • The science behind REST : to safeguard the new mother's pelvic and hormonal health,

  • The importance of ADEQUATE NUTRITION : for the short and long term well-being of women, for milk production and mental health,

  • The value of BODYWORK : for the integration of the birth experience, detoxification and tissue healing,

  • The wisdom of WARMTH : to facilitate physical healing and increase oxytocin,

  • The value of COMMUNITY : what this might look like for you, your family and your specific needs.

Our fifth and final meeting will be held after each family has had their baby, to celebrate the birth together and welcome the little ones who have arrived.

This is a community series that brings together the 6-week
Pregnancy Dialogues circle and the Planning for the Fourth
Trimester workshop combining relational support with practical,
physiological education.

Pregnancy Dialogues is a

6-week guided circle for
expectant parents.

In an intimate group setting, we
explore the emotional, relational,
and physiological transition into
motherhood and fatherhood.

Through breathing, mindfulness,
and baby dialogue, you strengthen
connection, reduce stress, and
build community that continues
beyond birth.

Six sessions before birth

(2 hours each):

Week 1: Your Pregnancy

Week 2: Baby Within

Week 3: You as a Mother

Week 4: Your New Family

Week 5: Birth of Your Baby

Week 6: Life with Your Baby after Birth

Two group follow-up sessions after all babies

in the group are born (2 hours):

  • Introduce the new babies to the group

  • One session with mothers

  • One session incluiding partners

Blue Ocean Waves

hi, i´m catarina lapão

I am devoted to supporting women
through these vulnerable and powerful
thresholds of life and death.

For over 12 years I have worked as a
bodyworker, and for the past 5 years my
work has been dedicated specifically to
mothers, babies, and the ones who left this
world too early. I am a fierce advocate for
bodywork as medicine. Mothers and
babies deserve skilled, therapeutic touch
from day one.

When we tend to a mother — physically,
emotionally, and relationally — we protect
her lifelong health — and the health of her
baby.

I believe that babies are sentient, and that
the body is born from the soul.

How we welcome a baby matters — not
only in the intensity of birth, but in the
integration that follows. When their
presence is honored and their rhythms
respected, we influence not only one
family, but generations.

I advocate for extending the golden hour into the golden month and beyond.

Supporting a baby’s soul begins with supporting their physiology. It meansorganizing life around their rhythms. It means protecting the mother whoprotects them.

This is the heart of my work.
